EMGS Old Students Association Congratulates Governor Adeleke at 66, Praises His Leadership Record
The Ede Muslim Grammar School Old Students Association has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his 66th birthday, describing him as a leader who has consistently demonstrated excellence from his student days to his current role as Governor.
In a statement signed by the Association’s President, Alhaji Barr Rasaq Olatunde Bello, the group noted that Governor Adeleke’s leadership qualities were evident during his time at Ede Muslim Grammar School and later as the pioneer president of the association.
Barr Bello recalled how Senator Adeleke revitalized the school during his tenure as association president by mobilizing support for the refurbishment of facilities. He highlighted the former senator’s role in securing laboratory equipment and academic materials for the school, an initiative that prompted other schools in Ede to emulate his approach.
“History will not forget the positive impact of our pioneer president on Ede Muslim Grammar School, especially now that he is serving as Governor of Osun State since November 27, 2022,” Bello stated.
The association urged the Governor to remain focused on advancing Osun State’s development and not be distracted by political opposition. It also expressed confidence in his competence and vision, calling on residents of Osun State, and Ede in particular, to support his re-election bid on August 15, 2026.
The group said re-electing Governor Adeleke would ensure the consolidation of the progress his administration has made since taking office.
