Easter: OSCO-HEALTH Provost, Raheem greets college Community, Nigerians

The Provost, Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa, Dr Lateef  Olarewaju Raheem has urged members of the College community to reflect on the true meaning of Easter and remain committed to excellence, peace, and progress.

In a statement released to newsmen on Saturday through the College P.R.O, Kingsley Omoyeni, Dr. Raheem described the Easter season as a time for reflection, selflessness, and unity.

The Provost through the Statement appreciated the dedication and contributions of staff and students to the growth of the institution, while urging Christians to celebrate in modesty. 

He noted that the commemoration of the death and resurrection of Christ serves as a powerful reminder of the capacity for redemption and the necessity of love in overcoming contemporary challenges.

The Provost urged Nigerians and the College community to rise above current difficulties by strengthening their faith and fostering a spirit of togetherness as a unified institution of Health and a resilient nation.

Emphasizing the practical application of religious teachings, Dr. Raheem encouraged everyone to strictly abide by the “Golden Rule” of loving one’s neighbour as oneself, which he identified as the essential foundation for safeguarding peace and good neighborliness in homes, offices, and across the country.

According to the statement, "As we commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, let us henceforth imbibe the spirit of love, tolerance and forgiveness which are the major significance of the season.

"Lets continue to persevere and be our brother's keeper at all times, this is the only the death and resurrection of Christ will not be in vain". He stated.
