Osun NUJ to hold March Congress on Wednesday


The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Osun State Council, has announced plans to hold its monthly congress on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. The meeting forms part of the union’s regular gatherings aimed at discussing issues affecting journalists and the media profession in the state.

According to a notice issued by the council’s secretary, Comrade Lekan Akindoju, the congress will take place at the NUJ Press Centre in Osogbo by 3 O'clock in the afternoon.

Members of the union are expected to attend the congress, where key matters concerning the welfare of journalists and the activities of the council will be deliberated upon. The congress serves as an avenue for members to review developments within the profession and the union.

The council therefore urged all members to be present and punctual, noting that their participation would contribute meaningfully to discussions and decisions affecting the union.
