Adeleke's Aid. Hon. Adewale doles out cash for Owode-Ede Eid praying ground maintenance


....as Olu Owode of Owode-Ede lauds Gov. Adeleke’s development strides

In the spirit of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Transportation, Hon. Salaam Hamid Adewale has donated cash gift worth #250,000.00 for the maintenance of the Owode-Ede Eid praying ground.

The SSA made the donation on behalf of Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Chief of Staff, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, SSA on Non-Indegenes, Hon. Muhammad Saani Ismahil and himself at the 2026 Eid-el-Fitr prayers held in Owode-Ede.

Speaking shortly before the Eid prayers, Hon. Salaam Adewale who spoke on behalf of the Governor urged Muslims in Osun State and beyond to continue their lives in the teachings of the holy month of Ramadan. 

He urged all and sundry to continue to pray for the Governor in his quest to continue to take Osun State to greater heights, stressing that the Governor will not relent in his resolve to put smiles on the faces of Osun residents.

Hon. Adewale assured that the ongoing road dualisation project connecting Owode-Ede to Ede main town will be completed in due course, while promising that more laudable projects are coming to Owode-Ede.

Also speaking, the Olu Owode of Owode-Ede, Oba Nureni Oyedepo Abdulazeez
congratulated Muslims for being alive to commence and witness the 2026 Ramadan fasting period. 

He appreciated the State Governor for his kindness and love for residents of Osun State through the various programmes and projects going on across the State.
The traditional ruler commended the Governor for the ongoing dualisation of the Owode to Ede road, stressing that the road will no doubt boost economic activities of the area.

He also lauded the peaceful conduct of politicians in Owode-Ede, urging them to continue to show love to one another despite being in different political camps. 

The royal father then prayed for the second term ambition of Senator Ademola Adeleke in office, praying that Almighty Allah should make it easy.
