Nigerian Army to conduct marathon training on Osogbo -Ede-Iwo-Ibadan road on Monday, 8th December, 2025

The Osun State Government has issued a public advisory to motorists and other road users ahead of a scheduled marathon training exercise by the Nigerian Army.

According to a statement signed by Olusoji Wojuade, Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Cabinet, Special Services, office of SSG, the Nigerian Army Ede Barracks will conduct a marathon training for the newly recruited soldiers of the 90th Regular Intake on Monday, December 8, 2025.
The exercise will take place along the Osogbo–Ede–Iwo–Ejigbo -Ibadan routes.

To this end,Osun  government has urged private and commercial road users plying the affected roads to remain calm and comply with safety directives during the activity.
