The newly posted General Manager of Osun State Emergency Management Agency (OSEMA), Mrs. Olubukola Aderibigbe, has charged the management and staff of the agency to embrace tolerance, unity, and a renewed commitment to duty in order to achieve greater institutional success.
Mrs Aderibigbe made the call while addressing the staff of the agency as part of her familiarization meeting in her capacity as the new General Manager of the agency.
The inaugural meeting which held at the agency’s conference room afforded the OSEMA boss an opportunity to emphasize that as civil servants with the core mandate of managing and mitigating emergencies of any kind, it becomes impressive for all hands to be on deck.
“ Wherever you find yourself today as an employee of government, discharge your duties and responsibilities diligently and efficiently.
"I therefore urge you as staff to cultivate tolerance, teamwork, and understanding so as to ensure smooth operations in line with the core missions and visions of OSEMA.
"As employees of this agency of government, I want to earnestly charge you to remain dedicated to OSEMA’s core mandate of emergency management.
“Let us work with empathy, patience, and good character. We must continue to support one another,” Concluded Mrs Aderibigbe.
Responding on behalf of the staff, the Director of Administration and Supplies, Mr. Yomi Olawuni, assured the new GM of the agency’s full cooperation and support. In the same vein, he urged staff to remain disciplined and united in carrying out their duties.
