Forum drums support for Gov. Adeleke's re-election, endorses Aare Asejere's Senatorial bid

The Honourable Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Chairman of the Osun Commissioners’ Forum, and Osun Central Senatorial frontline hopeful, Aare Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa Asejere, today played host to the leadership of the Imole Osun Female Forum GCC at his office.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the State Coordinator of the Forum, Hon. Mrs. Olaiya Folashade, described Aare Asejere as a seasoned grassroots mobilizer whose political structures and influence cut across communities. She noted that their visit was to reaffirm the Forum’s unalloyed commitment to the re-election project of His Excellency, Senator Ademola Adeleke, and to throw their full weight behind Aare Asejere’s senatorial ambition for Osun Central.

In her words, “Our forum is convinced that the Governor’s giant strides in governance deserve consolidation, and Aare Asejere remains the people’s choice to represent Osun Central in the Red Chamber.”

Responding, Aare Asejere appreciated the Forum for their solidarity, stressing that their support further strengthens the bond between the Adeleke-led administration and the people.

He urged the women to intensify grassroots mobilisation, particularly in the ongoing PVC registration, replacement, and transfer processes, to ensure overwhelming electoral success for the PDP in future polls.

Reassuring the Forum of his readiness for effective representation, Aare Asejere said: “By the grace of God and with the support of the people, I will be a Senator whose impact will be felt across Osun Central and beyond. Our people deserve visible, people-centred representation, and that is the covenant I make with you.”

The meeting had in attendance state, senatorial, and local executives of the Forum alongside other notable members.
