2025 Int'l Youth Day: Adeleke tasks youth on multilateral cooperation, technology
.....affirms resolve to continue to up support for them to actualise their dreams

At a colourfully celebrated 2025 International Youth Day celebration, Governor Ademola Adeleke has once again re-affirmed his commitment to do all that is morally and officially expected of his administration to take the teeming Osun youth to greater heights.
Gov. Adeleke who congratulated the youth in Osun and all over the world on the annual occasion, however, charged Nigerian youth, especially in his state to embrace multilateral cooperation through technology and partnership by leveraging on digital platforms with a view to driving sustainable development.
Represented by his deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi, during the programme put together by the Ministry of Youth Affairs, commended Osun youth's resilient, innovation and patriotism for his state and the nation at large.
He pledged the present administration's commitment to youth development as evident in his government's recent employment of 10,000 Imole Osun Youth Corps to reduce unemployment.
Earlier in his remarks, Chairman, House committee on Youth, Sports and Special Needs. Hon. Jeremiah Adeyeye represented by Hon. Kasope Abolarin, congratulated the youth on the occasion of this year's international Youth day. The law maker called on them to channel their energy towards a futuristic ventures and avoid social vices for a better and brighter future.
In his address of welcome, Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Hon Olagunju Moshood Olalékan, assured the gathering of Governor Ademola Adeleke led Osun to ensure holistic development of youth with the provision of more employment opportunities, wealth creation, poverty reduction and empowerment.
Hon.Olagunju, also on the occasion solicited their support for the present administration to achieve its many laudable dreams for the overall development of the state.
In his goodwill message, the Chairman Youth Council of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter, Comrade Akinbode Olusegun applauded Governor Adeleke's youth friendly policies especially the inclusion of youths in his cabinet.
On behalf of all the youth in the state, Comrade Olusegun passed a vote of total loyalty and confidence on the Adeleke led youth friendly government.
The royal father of the day and Elerinmo of Erinmo Ijesha, Oba Micheal Odunayo Arowotawaya, commended Osun youth for their tenacity of purpose and resilience.
The monarch, however, advised the young minds to look beyond white collar jobs by adding value to themselves through entrepreneurship so as to be able to be their own bosses.
This year's International Youth Day celebration featured a beautifully carried out match past by different youth organisations throughout the state before Governor Ademola Adeleke who was represented by the State Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi.
