EHOAN Southwest Conference 2025 to Spotlight Circular Economy, Environmental Health in Osogbo

The 8th Southwest Conference / Scientific Workshop of the Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria (EHOAN), Southwest Zone is expected to commence between Monday 21st - Thursday 24th of July, 2025.

According to the press statement issued and made available to newsmen in Osogbo the Osun State capital by the EHOAN President of the South-West zone, Sanitarian Dr. Tope Akinwumi, series of activities have been put in place for the conference which will commence between 21-24, July 2025, which includes, foundation laying ceremony at South-West Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria, EHOAN, Secretariat, Badeku, Ibadan in Oyo State on Monday, July 21st, while the official opening ceremony including parade, professional possession, lectures and award of Governor Ademola Adeleke hold on Tuesday July 22nd.

"On Wednesday July 23rd, there will be lectures to be delivered by the experts and on Thursday July 24th, Tourist and Excursion to Osun Osogbo groove and courtesy visit to Kabiyesi, Ataoja of Osogbo and to crown it up later in the day, there will be reward to outstanding Officers and raffle draws, Gala night and award to distinguished Sanitarians as well as eminent personalities who have contributed to  field of environmental health in the entire South-West".

Dr Akinwumi, who admonished all members of the association in the South-West zone to troop out enmas and attend the programme said the Theme of the Conference will be, "Circular Economy and Environmental Health Entrepreneurship: Pathways to Innovations, Skills Development and National Growth".

"Venue of the Conference is Leisure Spring Hotels Ltd, Km 5, Iwo-Ibadan road, Osogbo, Osun State", the statement informed.
