Hon. Moruf Ayofe congratulates Timi of Edeland on the occasion of his 70th birthday

The Commissioner for  Innovation, Science and Technology, in Osun state, Hon. Maruf Ayofe has acknowledged the many success stories of Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal, Laminisa I, in the last 17 years of his ascension to the throne as remarkable.

This was contained in a congratulatory message to the royal father on his attainment of 70 years on earth. 

While further congratulating the monarch for making peace and development of Ede and Osun State some of his core values on the throne spanning for almost two decades now, the Commissioner lauded his many sterling contributions to the growth of culture and tradition of Yoruba land.

The Commissioner states further, 
"Kabiyesi, let me use this opportunity to congratulate and identify with your many success stories on the throne as you mark your 70th birthday.

"As our greatly loved and highly respected Oba, you have been a beacon of wisdom, leadership, and selfless service to Ede Land and beyond. 

"Your 17 years on the throne has been very remarkable as it has been marked with outstanding leadership qualities, dedication to community development and wise counsel to the natives and non natives of dear community, Ede.

"As you celebrate your birthday, I must add that, you have put in place many legacies that will continue to inspire the present and future generations to attain great heights in life.

"Accept my best wishes and congratulations today and always.

"May almighty Allah continue to guard and guide you on the throne of your ancestors . Amen".

Ipetumodu Youth Movement protest over poor power supply in the town

..... gives IBEDC four days ultimatum to resolve electricity challenges facing the community The Great Ipetumodu Youth Movement (GIYM) on Thursday staged a peaceful protest against the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) over the persistent epileptic power supply in Ipetumodu and its environs.
