The recent appointment of Dr. Deji Adeleke, the Patriarch of Ademola Adeleke dynasty of Ede by the Vanguard Newspaper as the 2024 Personality of the year has been described as putting the proverbial round peg in a round hole.

Osun State Commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology, Hon. Maruf Dele Ayofe, made this disclosure in a congratulatory message sent to the recipient of the award.

While wishing Dr. Adeleke  well in his present and future endeavors, Hon. Ayofe recalled with deep sense of satisfaction the many contributions made by the internationally renowned business icon and philanthropist par excellence.

Part of the statement in the congratulary message sent to Dr. Adeleke by the Hon. Commissioner and made available to newsmen reads;

..... gives IBEDC four days ultimatum to resolve electricity challenges facing the community The Great Ipetumodu Youth Movement (GIYM) on Thursday staged a peaceful protest against the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) over the persistent epileptic power supply in Ipetumodu and its environs.
