FG Food Support Distribution: Osun first lady tasks group representatives on fear of God

As part of efforts to ameliorate the suffering of the masses at this crucial period of economic crisis rearing its ugly head on every household, the firstlady of Osun State, Mrs. Titilola Adeleke, has enjoined the representatives of beneficiaries groups of federal  government food support programme to let  the fear of God be their watchword in the cause of  the largesse distribution.

Mrs Adeleke, stated this in her speech during the official distribution of seven hundred bags of  rice courtesy of the Nigeria's first lady's Renewed Hope Development initiative in conjunction with her office to groups representatives  across  Local Governments in the State including Ife East area office, which was held at the Government house premises, Oke-fia, Osogbo.

Mrs Adeleke, applauded, Nigeria's firstlady's commitment to the wellbeing of the masses at this crucial time of the nation's economic cogmire, hike in fuel price, the free fall of the naira at the international market, causing soaring of prices of consumables in Nigeria.
   
Mrs Adeleke who enjoined the groups representatives to ensure that the eatables get to the genuine beney implored the people of the State to exercise patience and continue  supporting her husband led State Government, in his efforts to fix Osun of everyone 's dream .

Mrs Adeleke, decried the various social vices being indulged in by the youth in recent time, just as she seized the period to implored mothers to keep an eagle eye on their wards to prevent them from associating with bad companies that corrupt good morals.
 
In their seperate goodwill messages, the PDD Chairman of  Chairmen in Osun, Hon. Ademola Oyebode, PDP women leader in the State, Mrs  Otunla Alice Omowumi, Special Assistance to the Governor on disabilities, Hon. Olanrewaju Oladosu, Mrs.Monisade Awotunde, Iyaloja General, Mrs Mary Oyebode, thanked God for the opportunity to witness the first of its kind programme in the State.

They commended the Nation's firstlady Sen. Oluremi and Mrs Titilola Adeleke for exhibiting love to humanity which has birthed several benefits for the people of the State.

Earlier, in her welcome Address, S A to the Governor on Home grown School feeding programme, Hon. Ayodele Oluwaseyi,  applauded those in attendance for gracing the occasion, calling on all and sundry to continue supporting Governor Adeleke's administration in his onerous task of taken Osun to greater height.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, the president Widows Association in Osun, Mrs, Modupe Olawumi, showered encomium on Osun firstlady, for deeming it fit to distribute the largesse from the federal level to the people of the State and pledged to ensure that the federal  government rice get to the genuine beneficiaries 

Highlights of the programme which attracted by PDP stalwarts and members, the Iyalojas, JONAPID members, Titilola  Adeleke movement, Women of substance, Imole voice of love among others was the symbolic presentation of rice to the beneficiaries and presentation of big frame to Osun  first lady by the people with disabilities in farming for her Commitment to the welfare of  all categories of people's in Osun.

Ipetumodu Youth Movement protest over poor power supply in the town

..... gives IBEDC four days ultimatum to resolve electricity challenges facing the community The Great Ipetumodu Youth Movement (GIYM) on Thursday staged a peaceful protest against the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) over the persistent epileptic power supply in Ipetumodu and its environs.
